TrivaEdit

  • Jefferson says that this is one of the lands that do not have magic, but need it. However, The Dragon states magic here is rare, but still possible to get.
  • Although it is called the Land Without Magic, Storybrooke has magic after Mr. Gold mixed the true love potion with the magical waters of the wishing well to restore it. However, Greg Mendell and Tamara have stated that magic has crossed over even before that.
  • Even though one usually cannot create magic in this world, magical items can be used if they are brought over from other worlds and can retain their power. This practice has been referred to as "importing magic". However, prior to Gold bringing Magic into Storybrooke, it was stated that imported Magic can be very unpredictable in this realm.
  • Due to the strength of the true love, it is the only magic powerful enough to transcend worlds, even those without magic. This allowed Emma Swan to break the Dark Curse with her love for her son Henry Mills despite being in Storybrooke with no access to magic.
  • The known ways used to reach the Land Without Magic are by: passing through the magic wardrobe, casting the Dark Curse, using the ashes of the magic wardrobe with the waters of Lake Nostos, creating a portal with a magic bean, using a rabbit hole created by the White Rabbit (only in locations that have magic present such as Storybrooke), using the Wishing Star to grant a wish, using a magic door designed to travel to the Land Without Magic, or using a portal created by Merlin or his apprentice designed to travel to the Land Without Magic. Mermaids, such as Ariel, also have the innate ability to travel to the Land Without Magic from other realms. The Land Without Magic is not accessible using Jefferson's hat since the hat only connects to worlds with magic.
  • The Land Without Color, Victorian England and 1920s England bear strong resemblances to this land in its past.
