• It is possible to be awoken from a sleeping curse via a true love's kiss given in the Dream World.
• In Belle's dream of the Dark Castl], the camera momentarily focuses on a pile of shoes lying in the hallway. Among the footwear is a children's shoe; a subtle foreshadowing of Morpheus' identity.
• In Belle's dream there is a modified version of the rack, a well-known medieval instrument of torture, in the Dark Castle great hall. This rack has spiked rollers designed to slice into the skin and muscles of the victim's back, an "improvement" made by the French.
  • It is the same prop used for the rack in the Underbrooke Sheriff's Department in "The Brothers Jones". The black cage sitting in the corner, is the same cage that was sitting in the corner of the Underworld sheriff's office in the episode.
• The dress Emma wears in Prince Charming's nightmare has swan-like feathers.
  • Emma's tiara is the same one worn by Emma at King Midas' ball in "Snow Drifts".
