Ben Masters is a character on ABC's Once Upon a Time. He does not have a counterpart. He is the unborn son of Tabitha Nixon and August Booth. He is the nephew to Felix, grandson to Ella and Avis Nixon, adopted grandson to Shannon and Darren Masters, and great-grandson to Merlin.
The Short Life of Ben Masters[]
Four weeks short of his due date, Ben Masters died from lack of oxygen while still in his mother's womb. His mother, Tabitha had been caught in a car crash with her parents and younger brother; the crash had caused her placenta to rupture and cut off all vital nutrients, including oxygen that Ben needed in order to survive.
